There are numerous different breeds of the domestic cat, each having its own distinctive looks and characteristics. Not only are there all the differing cat breeds, but cat breeds also vary from country to country, so a Persian cat from America will have subtle differences to a Persian cat from the UK. On top of that, like humans no two cats of the same breed will act the same or have the same personality, however, cats from the same breed will share the same similarities.
